
Robin John Simmons SVLAT MSTAT has been teaching the Alexander
Technique since 1971.
He has been running an approved teacher training programme
since 1982. As well as running a thriving private teaching practice in Hampstead,
London for 31 years he also worked for a number of corporate companies including
Saatchi and Saatchi (London), The Noranda Corporation of Canada, Advance
Seating Designs (London) and Ziraat Bank (Istanbul).
He has appeared on cable
TV and on LBC Radio. He has written articles for health magazines, and has
appeared in Harpers & Queen. He now resides in Switzerland where, with
his wife Béatrice he co-directs an approved training course for Alexander
teachers and gives private lessons in the Technique. He has contributed to
several books on the Alexander Technique and is presently preparing a book
on the evolution of movement.

Béatrice Simmons-Heiz SVLAT MSTAT has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1989. She has assisted her husband running the teacher training programme in London and has worked for The Music School of Zürich, The Noranda Corporation and Ziraat Bank. She is now co-director of the teacher training school in Zürich and gives private lessons.
